Ayat Begum

A sophomore at Beacon High School, Ayat is planning to take advanced placement Math, Biology, and English courses during the fall semester. She is actively involved in extracurricular activities such as Medical Club and volunteer work at a local hospital. During her free time, she has been volunteering at her former middle school (P.S./I.S. 218) where she has provided academic and clerical support to teachers and office staff.  Additionally, under the guidance of one of her former teachers, Ayat has been accepted as a STEM facilitator for the Saturday program that the middle school will be hosting in the spring.
