Jordan Ambrosio

Attended P.S.I.S. 218 since Kindergarten and graduated our middle school with honors in the summer of 2015. He graduated from Bronx Science in the summer of 2019 with a full scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Jordan is currently attending MIT, where he is enrolled in its Engineering School pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. During the summers, he works as a lifeguard in one of NYC’s public parks, but this year he is currently working as a Park Ranger where his “primary function is to link New Yorkers to the natural world through public education.” Later this summer, Jordan will be taking part in the MIT Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) where he will be part of the glacier dynamics and remote sensing research group and will focus mainly on Antarctic ice streams.
