Leslyan Lorenzo

Graduated from 218 in 2013. Currently enrolled at the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science, Binghamton University. Leslyan is scheduled to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Systems Engineering this coming spring 2021. During her free time for the past seven years, she volunteers at the Harlem Children’s Zone where she has participated in distributing resources at food drives and soup kitchens during the winter months. Leslyan also has participated in wellness activities that build community connections with the help of mentors and advisors. While she was a student at 218, she tutored classmates in reading and math. She often donated her lunch time to assist some of the neediest students in the school. Leslyan was always a caring and compassionate young lady with the desire to share her academic talents.
