Malik Schoffner


Attended P.S. 218 since Kindergarten and graduated with multiple honors in the summer of 2014. He graduated from All Hallows High School in the summer of 2018. Throughout his years of high school, he was able to be a part of various organizations including: Futures and Options during his freshman year which taught him essential skills to be utilized in the workforce; WHEDco After School Program, which allowed him the opportunity to volunteer throughout all four years of high school and which culminated with a position after high school graduation; and Minds Matter from sophomore year to senior year, which was an extension of SAT and college preparation. Throughout his years in Minds Matter, Malik was able to take a two-week course on Forensic Physics at the University of Michigan during the summer of 2017. Through his years with WHEDco, he was awarded a $10,000/year scholarship by the Garden of Dreams organization. He is currently attending SUNY Alfred State College as a junior, double-majoring in Forensic Science Technology (BS) and Biological Science (AS) and has been awarded with the college’s Presidential Scholarship.
